About the Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading International Stone Group as Project Manager for our luxury natural stone creations. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in executive-level project management. With a focus on high-end, large-scale developments, you will play a pivotal role in opening up new markets, expanding our client base, and ensuring the successful execution of projects to the highest standards.

Your Mission:

• Help the senior management team establish the company’s operations, policies and procedures in a new location.
• Utilize your knowledge of engineering and the natural stone industry to provide technical expertise and guidance from conception through delivery and completion.
• Stay actively involved throughout the execution of projects, ensuring quality, responsiveness, and execution are carried out to the highest standard.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery, on-time completion, and client satisfaction.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of raw material procurement, transformation/fabrication processes, installation techniques, and logistics.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and industry partners to foster long-term partnerships and repeat business.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the luxury natural stone sector to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

What You Bring:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the natural stone industry, with a strong emphasis on high-end, large-scale developments. Individuals coming from a ‘high end’ fit out background with strong exposure to natural stone will also be considered.
• Proven track record in project management with an in-depth knowledge of the natural stone procurement process, fabrication techniques, installation methods, and logistical considerations.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to navigate complex bidding processes.
• Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely execution.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and industry professionals.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed to engage with clients, oversee project execution, and explore new market opportunities.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a proactive and results-driven approach to achieving business objectives.
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus) and proficient in utilizing technology and software for project management and sales activities.
