Bidding Manager / Saudi Arabia

Role- Bidding Manager Description
  • Manage the end-to-end bid process.
  • Analyzing the tender document to understand the needs of the clients.
  • Develop a strong working relationship with the client, and proponents.
  • Manage virtual bid teams and inputs from key stakeholders, typically engaging with Segment Leads, CFO on Finance, Commercial, Legal and Project Management.
  • Planning bid preparation to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Liaising with Segment leads to agree bid details.
  • Work with the Segment leads to develop a clear win strategy for each bid and ensure winning themes are clear and compelling.
  • Preparing and understanding competitor landscape and other reference materials, to support Partner Ecosystem
  • Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic, and business issues.
  • Risk tracking and management throughout the bid process.
  • Prepare and review the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all products / services are included in the final price to the customer.
  • Collating materials provided by various departments and ensuring a uniform tone across the overall document.
  • Contributing to the written proposal - both in terms of content and presentation (such as providing guidance around the executive summary).
  • Ensure timescales are achieved at each step of the bid process, including all internal governance, while taking the initiative in setting realistic deadlines.
  • Ensuring that the bid is accurate and delivered on time.
  • Manage the bid budget and monitor and report on overall performance against KPIs.
  • Drive continuous improvement, through post-bid reviews, both internally and with customer.

  • 10 - 15 years’ experience in the same role.
  • Educational Level – bachelor’s degree.
  • Extensive experience with Oil & Gas - Saudi Aramco, EPC’s, Etimad.
  • Have extensive experience in prequalifying our inhouse service offerings with prospective clients such as Saudi Aramco, SABIC, NEOM etc.
  • Extensive Experience in leadership roles.
