On behalf of a operator client, searching for a Staff Engineer Operations for a capital project in Malaysia. The role will be offered on a direct hire staff basis and paid monthly salary.

Successful candidates Require:

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, ideally with the majority of that time spent working in liquefied natural gas (LNG) and/or Gas operations for an offshore/onshore PAC operator.
• Experience in managing day-to-day operation & maintenance of oil & gas offshore field.
• Experience in production optimisation work.
• Experience in deep-water field operations is preferable, however shallow-water field operation is acceptable. Able to make decisions and plans for optimising production in this environment.
• Experience in deep-water development projects is preferable, however shallow-water development projects is acceptable. Able to provide operational input required to ensure the most successful result is achieved.
• Broad upstream oil and gas operator experience, including interaction with other groups required to achieve results in complex, multi-discipline projects.
• Experience dealing with regulatory officers, Petronas and JV partners with respect to Operations related matters.
• Must be an excellent communicator, with strong command of English.
• Must be energetic, well organized, and effective personality. The job will require dedication, commitment, creativity, and perseverance.
