Rail Risk Manager - Egypt / Egypt

A requirement for a Rail Risk Manager, working on a prestigious metro project in the MENA region.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all risk management activities related to rail projects.
- Identify potential risks associated with the project and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Register project risks and maintain an updated risk register throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with contractors and stakeholders to assess, monitor, and control project risks.
- Implement risk management processes and procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Analyse risk data and prepare reports for project stakeholders, highlighting key risk areas and mitigation measures.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on risk management best practices.
- Conduct risk workshops and training sessions for project staff as needed.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of overall professional experience, with at least 5 years of experience in rail or metro projects.
- Certification in risk management (e.g., PMI-RMP, PRINCE2 Risk Management) is desirable.
- Fluency in English is required
- Willingness to relocate
