Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or equivalen 10-15 years’ experience with 5 years at the senior project engineering and / or supervision level with overall responsibility for project execution or experience in Joint Ventures, Operated by Others projects and / or experience with Corporate level activites. Broad and extensive knowledge in engineering, safety, quality, construction and commissioning along with general project leadership experience in administration and coordination.
Works with the Project Onshore Project Leadership Team to support the delivery of all aspects of the Onshore Facilities to identify, analyze and provide solutions on various project related issues ranging from project execution (e.g. Safety, Progress, EPC Contractor issues) to risk management (e.g. Contractor financial distress) to project communications (e.g. EPC Contractor press releases, site tours for VIPs) to administrative and personnel (e.g. All Team meetings (Townhalls), teambuilding, recruitment, retention, leadership development).
Responsible for the development and delivery of course corrections to overall project objectives. Supports strategic and tactical planning based on the identification and evaluation of trends occurring within the EPC Projects, EPC Contractor and sub-contractor performance, industry and worldwide events. Participates in weekly meetings, supports the development of key messages and themes regarding project status, issues, etc. for both internal and external communication and engagements. EPC Contractor and PMT meetings, interacts with EPC-1 Project Management Team members to identify trends and provide recommendations through risk based evaluation of complex technical, execution, administrative and personnel issues to enable the safe and timely delivery of the projects. Major challenge will be the review and evaluation of copious amounts of project information and documentation to timely identify trends and provide recommendations to the Construction Division Manager
