Civil Structural Engineer - Madrid

On behalf of a major PMC, WRS are looking for a Civil Structural Engineer to work in Madrid on a contract basis. This will be an ASAP start, on a 12 month renewable contract, based residentially in Madrid, paying an hourly rate in USD.

The role will be supporting NGL Fractionation Trains, in Engineering/EPC phase.

Job Duties include:

• Supervision of civil and structural engineering execution in detailed design, production of calculations for heavy equipment foundations, buildings and steel structures.
• EPC Analysis and design of modular steel structures including sea transportation, lifting analysis, skidding analysis, load out and stress analysis.
• EPC Design of structural steel and precast pipe racks.
• EPC Design of structural steel technological structures, process plant structures.
• EPC Design of blast resistant buildings.
• EPC Design of compressor/table top, pumps and similar types of machine foundations.

Candidate requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering discipline 
• 10-15 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry petrochemical project
• Experience in PMC/client side capacity
• Right to work in the EU
• Experience in similar projects at Engineering/EPC phase
