Terminal and Tanks Preservation Technician - Tanzania / Tanzania

On behalf of a major oil and gas operator, I am searching for a Terminal and Tanks Preservation Technician to join them on a residential rotation (8/2) to Tanzania on a long term contract.

Role:
Day to day activities is mainly focused on supervising construction contractor activities related to storage of material and equipment and equipment preservation in line with international oil and Gas standards, project specifications and suppliers or Vendors instructions.
The Job Holder is responsible for ensuring that construction contractor is meeting the requirements as specified by project documents and/or instructions from Vendor or manufacturer for:

• Material storage and protection at work site or storage yard
• Equipment preservation 

Qualification:

• Degree: Bachelor or MSc in Mechanical / Quality
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical role,
• good knowledge / experience in project execution & organization
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
