We are in search of a highly experienced Process Engineer to join the team in Namibia or South Africa;

Responsibilities
 

• Lead the conceptual design and simulation of various process plants including hydrogen, nitrogen, and ammonia production.
• Assess different process solutions focusing on techno-economic viability, safety, and reliability.
• Work closely with the system modelling team to optimise plant configuration for efficiency and functionality.
• Engage with technology providers and licensors to stay updated on market trends.
• Review and approve documentation and process specifications from the Owner’s Engineering team and/or EPC contractor(s).
• Support the Technical Director in managing the technical aspects of the green hydrogen project from feasibility to completion.
• Collaborate with the environmental team to define emissions and contribute to the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and offer technical support.
• Assist in permit application preparation, focusing on early identification of requirements.
• Prepare technical reports for internal and external audiences.
• Compile project feasibility reports to contribute to project success.
• Master degree in process engineering or similar background.
• 10+ years of experience in practical work in simulation and designing of process plants.
