Function description

Cost Estimator - you will design execution plans and develop cost estimates for large-scale dredging projects, with the guidance and support of a team with decades of dredging experience. This position also provides a high-level of exposure to executive management with various growth opportunities. The

position reports to the Vice President of Estimating.

Requirements

 Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration ? or equivalent and relevant work experience

- Must possess at least one of the following:

- 5 years of relevant experience in the dredging and/or marine construction industry OR

- 5 years of relevant experience in a cost estimating position in a comparable industry

- Proficient in standard Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

- Analytical experience utilizing PowerBi or similar software is a plus

- Effective communicator and attentive listener with excellent attention to detail

- Self-starter, willing to learn, and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast paced environment

- Excellent written and oral communication skills for senior management reporting

- Must be able to work a hybrid schedule of 4 days in the office and 1 day remote.
