Require a talented and experienced Head of Engineering in Sydney. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in the solar engineering field and a proven track record of leading exceptional large-scale PV projects whilst mentoring a team of engineers and helping to build the business.

Key Responsibilities for the Head of Engineering:

  • Lead and oversee the engineering team along with external consultants, ensuring the prompt and cost-effective delivery of high-quality, safe, and compliant designs and associated engineering documents.
  • Develop and implement processes, strategies, and frameworks to facilitate the growth of the company’s projects.
  • Act as a key support for the technical sales team, providing leadership within the business.
  • Undertake pre and post-sales engineering duties to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Champion consistent project engineering throughout the execution phase by collaborating with design experts to maintain uniformity.
  • Collaborate with the internal tech and product team for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Independently generate bespoke designs, showcasing creativity and technical proficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovations.
Requirements for the Head of Engineering:

  • Experience in a senior-level similar role in the renewable energy sector, exposed to all stages of the project life cycle.
  • Demonstrated experience in design, including evidence of large project involvement and the ability to lead multi-discipline designs.
  • Strong knowledge of PV projects and the renewable energy landscape in Australia.
  • Proven leadership experience such as leading a team of engineers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
