Construction Field Engineer Piping
Contract period: 25.03.2024 - 23.05.2025
Location: Batam, Indonesia
Main Tasks:
- Be an HSSE ambassador and proactively strive for good HSSE and quality performance throughout the work.
- Participate in tool-box meetings and Safety Meetings
- Participate in Readiness Reviews prior to starting piping fabrication and installation activities.
- Participate in Constructability and Schedule Reviews and seek construction friendly solutions.
- Proactively assist Contractor in resolving technical problems during the execution of building- or installation work at a construction site.
- Follow up and ensure efficient close out of technical queries related to the piping discipline. Liaise with FFA discipline engineers as required.
- Liaise with QC Lead and Piping/Welding QC inspectors and ensure the SRU and TEG Modules are constructed as per project design and Company Requirements
- Review and comment on piping ITP and witness checkpoints on behalf of Company
- Review and comment on piping test packs, monitor and attend Mechanical Completion activities for piping discipline.
- Daily and weekly reporting to Lead FE Piping & mechanical
- Contribute to Lessons Learned, experience transfer and Close Out Report
Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Relevant experience from similar positions in other oil & gas projects may make up for formal education.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge and understanding of Norsok piping design and construction is an advantage.
- Knowledge to applicable project documents, standards, and specifications.
- Proficient in MS Office, experience in use of PIMS is an advantage.
- Must have Experience from working in SE Asia.
- Bahasa and English Fluent written and verbal communication
- Good collaboration skills
- Independent
