HSE Specialist / Australia

Seeking a HSE Specialist for an 8-month contract with potential to extend. This role will be on a 2/2 roster rotation, beginning in March.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide HSE advice and support to Chevron and contractor personnel associated with onshore C02 drilling program.
• Undertake assurance and inspection activities in accordance with a defined program including but not limited to Safety Case MAE’s
• Develop and provide HSE communications as required utilising existing resources.
• Support and undertake Environmental inspection and assurance activities in accordance with Environmental management plan requirements.
• Support waste management efforts including liquid and solid waste management testing requirements and disposal pathways.
• Proactively interface with Wells and site HSE personnel – foster and support One team.
• Support deployment of initiatives and programs targeting Serious injury prevention
• Provide daily, weekly reports as required by Wells Superintendent and HSE lead.
