Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA)

About the Project:
Our clients' project in Antwerp represents a pioneering venture, set to establish new environmental sustainability benchmarks in the European chemical industry. We are currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor, specializing in Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) aspects, to contribute to this landmark project.
Job Summary:
As the Quantity Surveyor for CSA, you will be responsible for overseeing all quantity surveying activities related to civil, structural, and architectural works. Your role will be pivotal in managing costs, ensuring the project stays within budget while maintaining the highest quality and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee quantity surveying for CSA works, including cost planning, estimation, and analysis.
• Collaborate closely with the EPCM contractor to monitor and control project expenditures and financial progress.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate work progress and future project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project specifications in liaison with the project team.
• Prepare and maintain accurate progress and cost reports for project management.
• Manage subcontractor claims and contractual disputes effectively.
• Maintain detailed records of site activities, contract changes, and document control.
• Assist in the tender process, including preparation of bills of quantities and related documentation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in quantity surveying, particularly in civil, structural, and architectural works within large-scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction costs, contracts, and project management principles.
• Knowledge of Belgian construction regulations and quality standards.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.
