We are looking for a quality inspector to work in Hull. As the quality inspector you will:
Act as the focal point for project quality issues and resolution.
Assessing suppliers' product specifications and quality plans for example (Hot Tapping, Hydro Test, Welding, Mechanical installations & Erection activities on site etc.).
Coordinate with Engineering & Construction in development of inspection and test plans.
Ensure the Site Quality Inspectors effectively doing all on-site QC inspection and testing activities.
Monitor compliance to project quality objectives, applicable codes, standards, policies, procedures and specific contract requirements.
Coordinate QA audits of project activities and surveillance activities according to project Surveillance and Audit Plan.
Liaise with the Client to manage client quality expectations for all pre and post contracts. Liaise with vendors on site for installation, testing and erection purposes.
Identification of non-conformance. Processing Non-Conformance Reports and progressing of non-conformance resolutions, with the aim to prevent re occurrence.
Monitoring and reviewing testing reports submitted by QC inspectors and vendors.
Ensure that construction staff is fully aware of current QC procedures.
Supporting System Completion team for Mechanical Completion of sub-systems.
Co-ordinating with Operation and Maintenance teams for Pre Start up Safety Review (PSSR).
Attending joint inspections for Rotating & Static Equipment’s with System Completions, Operations & Process Engineers.
Maintain a list of quality issues encountered during the execution of the works or raised by the client and include in the database for consideration on future projects.
Assist in review and approvals of Project Quality related procedures.
Provide direction and support in effectively utilizing and managing to ensure project documents are correctly identified, filed and collated for the customer’s MDR project specific procedures.
