Lead Planning Engineer - Tajikistan (Dams and Hydropower)

Project Overview: Our client is embarking on a major dams project in Tajikistan, an endeavor that stands among the most significant in the region and ranks in the top 10 globally. We are currently seeking a talented Lead Planning Engineer to join this remarkable undertaking. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a project of immense scale and leave your indelible mark on its success.

Key Responsibilities: As the Lead Planning Engineer, your key responsibilities will encompass:Oversight and coordination of the Master Planning team representing the Employer, which includes planners and quantity surveyors.Reporting directly to the Chief Resident Engineer.Ensuring the timely and precise execution of all contractually mandated activities of the Employer Representative. This encompasses overseeing the Overall Implementation Programme, Programme of individual lots, monthly reporting, notes, presentations, and various other deliverables.Collaborating closely with the Employer Representative team, both on-site and at the head office, to effectively carry out your duties.Providing efficient support to the Employer Representative team members to facilitate the fulfillment of their respective roles. This support extends to roles such as Chief Resident Engineer, cost controllers, contract managers, and more.Developing and maintaining program of works, including Overall Implementation Programme (OIP) and work lots.Creating and managing program-related documents, such as presentations, reports, and technical documents.Coordinating with the Employer Representative team and reporting to the Chief Resident Engineer.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:A degree in Civil Engineering.Extensive experience totaling 20 years, with a substantial focus on dams or projects involving similar features, such as tunnels, grouting works, and large electromechanical equipment.Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling.Outstanding interpersonal skills suitable for an international work environment.Exceptional proficiency in written and spoken English.
