Signaling Project Engineer / Australia

The company 
Work for an independent rail consultancy who specialise in transport infrastructure projects on the East Coast of Australia, providing project management and technical advisory services to public and private sector clients. Ove the last decade they have established themselves as a trusted advisor providing a combination of technical knowledge and hands-on site experience across all phases of rail project lifecycles. 

The Role 
We are looking to appoint an experienced Signaling Project Engineer to deliver services across the construction/installation phase of a major digital systems upgrade project in Sydney, replacing traditional trackside signalling equipment with ETCS Level 2 technology. 

As signalling Project Engineer you will: 

• Review and plan the project ensuring that technical aspects of the job are clear
• Liaise with construction team to ensure project is run to schedule 
• Liaise with Client on all technical aspects of the project 

About you: 

• Degree in Engineering
• Satisfactory level of technical skills/knowledge in job-related areas; keeping abreast of current developments and trends in area of expertise
• Minimum 5 years experience in project related disciplines.

This role is offered on a permanent basis with opportunity to work across continued pipeline of projects with this company or on a contract basis for at least 6 months.
