Senior Site Supervisor / Australia

This builder/developer is one of New South Wales' largest builders building over a thousand homes annually. They have projects across the state with a focus on new home townhouse and housing developments. 

The team is highly experienced, with regular site visits from the Construction and Project Managers to support the site and project. 

You will work with the Construction Manager to set up and deliver a multi- residential housing project. Once completed, there will be ongoing work in the area. 

The role: 

• Setting up and managing a large housing development site in western Sydney
• Managing the civil groundworks to completion/handover
• Assisting with hiring the supervisors on site and managing their work and workflow 
• Coordinate, program and schedule jobs, trades and materials prior and during construction 
• Oversee site staff and liaise with internal office staff (Estimators, Drafters..) 
• Solve design and construction issues that arise on site
• Report to the Construction Manager and Area Manager 

To be considered you must have:

• Experience on new-built homes in a volume/multi- res setting 
• Technical experience and the ability to manage various trades on site
• Excellent communication skills and previous experience of liaising with both internal employees and external suppliers and stakeholders
• A drivers license and white card 
• Computer literacy necessary as you'll be setting up the job from scratch
