Do you have experience in field operational or project engineering, preferably in brownfield onshore developments, and are you seeking a new contract in Basra?
As a Facilities Optimisation Team Leader, you will be responsible for current and future production allocation and develop a plan to maximise operational efficiency and improve equipment performance and reliability on process and utility plants. You will also identify performance improvement and optimisation opportunities using appropriate modelling work.

To apply for this project engineer role, you will need to be a qualified Petroleum or Process Engineer to degree level. You will also require 10 years of experience in a field operational or project engineering role, preferably in brown-field onshore developments. In addition, any experience working in Arab-speaking countries and the ability to converse in Arabic would be an advantage. Excellent influencing and communication skills are also essential.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Monitor station capacity and safe operating limits of DGS and provide technical input to Brownfield and Greenfield project scope of work
- Monitor station capacity and safe operating limits of DGS and offer daily support to the Operations Teams
- Handle slot allocation and DGS manifold optimisation
- Help build the optimisation team including supervision, coaching, and mentoring, and monitor optimisation performance and ensure positive intervention if needed
- Manage export curtailment process and contribute expert advice/service to monitor, analyse and solve facility, production and reliability issues
- Provide technical support to improve the accuracy of production allocation.
