Job Title: Dimensional Inspector - Contract

Business Title: Dimensional Inspector (1st Shift)

Job Responsibilities

Perform work in compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality expectations while supporting a production schedule
Execute daily priorities as defined by the supervisor or area lead
Perform dimensional inspection of product using Romer or Faro arm portable CMM equipment
Perform dimensional inspection of product using stationary CMM equipment
Perform dimensional inspection of product using hand tools
Interpret and report results of inspections and maintain documentation in an organized fashion
Identify and document product non- conformities
Complete all required documentation
Support continuous improvement and HSSE projects
Lift a minimum of 30lbs
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and performance to meet production and business needs.
Performs additional related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Desired Characteristics

Preferred to have experience using CMM equipment and PC-DMIS software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to apply basic written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to apply concepts of basic math and basic PC skills.
Ability to work, focus and thrive in a very fast paced and noisy work environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong work ethic and adherence to processes and policies

Additional Information

6:30AM - 2:30PM Monday through Friday (with overtime as required – shift will begin earlier than 6:30AM and/or end later than 2:30PM)
