Job Summary
Member of PMO team who will assist with establishing and managing the project planning and cost control activities
Assist the PMO with schedule/cost controlling, oversight, and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree/ High school diploma.
Relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
Sound knowledge of EPC project planning/contracts functions.Experience
12+ years’ relevant experience in the oil and gas industry
Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred.
Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage.
Skills, Training, special knowledge, and/or Language skills
An active listener with the ability to focus on agile requirements.
Highly motivated and self- reliant.
Fluent in both spoken and written English language.
Effective day to day management of internal/external stakeholders.
Quality Assurance Awareness of QMS practices. Training Good knowledge of Primavera (P6), Microsoft Project and Other MS office application.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:
- Steward planning/ scheduling/ reporting of various EPC projects across the portfolio delivery of greenfield/brownfield projects, offering process solutions for Oil/Water/Gas/Solid requirements.
- Production and distribution of project schedules: Integrated schedules (L3&L1) for the portfolio and individual project schedules
- Liaise with project manager to create project work scope document and support implementation of agreed Project Execution Plan.
- Carry out Integrated Planning activities including but not limited to Scheduling, interfacing with project teams in other locations, integrating major Client, subcontractors, and stakeholders (Engg, Procurement, manufacturing/Commissioning etc.)
- Preparation of project planning package, development of Master/ Contractual EPC Schedule in Primavera P6, review with internal/external stakeholders and setting up and maintaining Project Baseline.
- Ensure alignment of subcontractor work plans with overall EPC project schedule to achieve intermediate milestone and KPI objectives.
- Establish and track project progress via Progress Measurement sheets aligned with corporate QMS procedures.
- Monitor actual progress against planned progress, perform schedule/ cost risk analysis, flag project managers on identifies risks and assist in risk mitigation measures.
- Establish manpower budget required for execution, maintain /update project resource histograms & progress curves.
- Track discipline productivity, perform earned man-hours analysis, /SPI/CPI indices for project monitoring.
- Establish and agree project reporting procedures, prepare, and present monthly project progress, monthly reports for the Client and review of Contractor S-curves, monthly & weekly progress reports, Look-ahead schedules, adhoc reports etc.
- Responsible for collecting the status of various aspects of project progress vis-à-vis
- Engineering (EDMS Database)
- Procurement (Data available with Buyer)
- Vendor Progress (Data available with Package Manager)
- Manufacturing (Data available with Fabrication Manager)
- Quality Control Documentation
- Support bidding team with project controls info in technical submission preparations.
- Provides mentorship to junior team members on pre & post award project execution.

- Knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction planning processes, planning tools, project management techniques.
