Principal Engineer

The client, a leading mining owner operator is looking for Principal Engineer to join their team on a 12month contract.

This position will be on a 5:2 roster located in west Perth.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited too:

Overseeing and management of the construction execution
Develop and deliver the project within the key milestones
Engage with key contractors and service suppliers to ensure the correct skill set is applicable.
Schedule and budget adherence in line with the approved project documents

Essential Experience:

Australian recognised bachelors degree qualification in relevant engineering field
Demonstrated experience in project management/ Engineering design.

Teamwork:

Proven experience working as part of a project team on large projects.
Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse team which may include partners and contractors.

Leadership:

Proven experience delivering results whilst working with contractors and suppliers with demonstrated strong commitment to safety and quality.

Communication Skills:

Demonstrated ability to apply communication skills among multiple interfaces and diverse stakeholders. Ability to use interpersonal skills to expand sphere of influence within project to enable problem and conflict resolution.
Ability to adapt communication and delivery methods for diverse audiences
