HR Coordinator | Construction | Maternity Leave Cover / Australia

About the Role
The client is a well known, highly regarded residential home builder based in the south-west Sydney. With a strong presence in NSW, their brand is 
synonymous quality designs and award winning customer service. 

With the current HR Coordinator heading off on Maternity Leave, they are looking for an HR Generalist with a flair in Talent Acquisition & end to end recruitment processes to join their HR team of 4, operating across an employee headcount of around 165. 

In essence, you your responsibilities will be including;

• Managing the end to end recruitment process ensuring strong candidates that fit the company ethos and role requirements are secured (approx. 70% of role) 
• Onboarding of new starters and management of probationary periods
• Coordination of offboarding processes for departing employees
• Issuing new & variations of employment contracts
• HR Projects such as employee engagement initiatives, HRIS implementation, etc 
• Adhoc tasks to support the wider HR team 

About You
To be considered for this position you will have:

• 3+ years experience in end to end recruitment (construction industry experience preferred)
• Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, Psychology or related field 
• Knowledge of employment law and other relative legislation
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Highly computer literate (MS Excel intermediate to advanced)
• The ability to prioritise your workload in a changing environment
• A high attention to detail
• The ability to work towards deadline
