The role will assist in the preparation of monthly Group accounts, budgets and forecasts whilst having specific responsibility for monitoring and controlling capital spend and HMRC reporting and compliance. The Financial Analyst will assist in developing internal reporting, providing analysis and undertaking ad hoc projects to support the business in Scotland and Head Office in Norway to improve performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring adherence to statutory requirements, Group policies and internal controls across the Company.

The Financial Analyst will provide cover for both the Financial Controller and Assistant Accountant as required.

The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant, with a flexible attitude, and will have the ability to challenge and drive changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. It is essential to possess good overall "IT" skills including Microsoft Word & Excel and a knowledge of Sage 200 or Infor would be advantageous.
