Engineering Manager

On behalf of a major EPC company, we are looking for an Engineering Managert to work in London on a contract basis. This will be a long-term contract, working Monday - Friday in the London area.

The role will working in a PMC capacity on a large scale FEED project for a GrassRoots Refinery, paying an hourly rate in £.

Job Scope & Duties:

• Safe delivery and handover of the Project to the Owner, sustainably, safely, on time, within budget, ensuring that a quality product is produced that represents ‘best value’ for the Owner and their Stakeholders.
• Responsible for all management aspects, including day-to-day work allocation and supervision, of the PMC Engineering group and the oversight of the EPC / FEED / FEED Contractor during the Engineering and Procurement phases of the Project in the EPC / FEED / FEED Contractor’s Home Offices.
• To ensure PMC Engineering personnel are competent to perform their duties relating to the scope of work as identified in the PMC Contract.
• Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities.
• Identifying, evaluating, and resolving Engineering issues during the EPC / FEED phase.
• Setting up Engineering coordination procedures in agreement with the EPC / FEED Contractor for an orderly and efficient execution of the work.
• Coordinating communications, clarification and review cycle between EPC / FEED Contractor and Licensors.
