Duration: 12 months
Location: Algeria
Rotation: 4 x 4 weeks

Job Description:
  • Ensure that regular inspections of all work sites are conducted and deficiencies are reported to the Wells HSE Manager.
  • Coordinate and assist in conducting housekeeping and safety audit inspections.
  • Assist in exercising effective control and efficient operation of the Rig and working with the Drilling Supervisor in relation to the promotion of health, safety and environment
  • Ensure that proper safety induction briefings are conducted for all new personnel 
  • Attend and monitor safety meetings including pre-tour and pre-task meetings.
  • Review safety, emergency and on the job training in conjunction with the onboard safety officer
  • Ensure that lifting/handling equipment, Safety critical and fire fighting appliances and other safety related equipment are regularly inspected and maintained.
  • Regularly review emergency drills and the emergency response procedures
  • Advise Drilling Supervisor on health, safety, environment and training issues
  • Ensure documentation and submission of all HSE related reports to the Wells HSE Manager.
  • Review minor injury and sickness reports and monthly treatment summaries to detect any trends and advise Wells HSE Manager.
  • Review accident, incident / non-conform
Job Requirements:
  • NEBOSH Certificate or Equivalent 
  • Valid medical exam certificate in accordance with UKOOA. 
  • Valid National Passport and able to obtain appropriate valid visa(s) required to access and depart location.
  • Preferably trained in the following topics: Lifting/slinging, manual handling, PTW, CSE, WAH, LTMS, Isolation, welding, train-the-trainer, Movesmart (or equivalent).
  • Competent in the use of computers and familiar with word processing and spreadsheet program software usage. 
  • Preferable to have Advanced First Aid Training. 
  • 10 years HSE experience, with at least 5 years experience in drilling (or equivalent O&G discipline).
Assignment – 1 year on a rotational 4/4 week basis
