The company has a current vacancy for a SAP Planning Team Leader Teesside facility.
Reporting to the Integrated Planning Team Lead, the candidate will be responsible for the successful implementation of the planning and scheduling transition to new ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Overall responsibility for the smooth transition between current SAP centric ERP planning systems and new Next Generation planning and scheduling systems.
• Managing the interface between key stakeholders both onsite and in the Next Generation team.
• Attending all relevant meetings.
• Ensuring current operating practices are not negatively affected by the transition.
• Identifying and highlighting major differences between the new system and the legacy system. Following up differences
with the teams and ensuring a resolution is found.
• Utilizing best practice in the implementation of any new operating practices.
• Liaising with other departments to ensure master data and information systems are accurate and complete.
• Ensuring the continued management of code compliance and plant preventative maintenance routines.
• Reporting as required to teams on key deliverables and progress to date.
• Communicating changes to plant teams.
• Training in the new systems to on-site users.

Policy Management and Function Performance:
• Formulating operating policies / strategies and monitoring reports to determine efficiency improvements.
• Leveraging and efficiency or improvements with the new systems.
• Ensuring the integrity of the system, following up errors or non-compliances to ensure corrective measures are taken and
exceptions are addressed in an expedient manner.
• Reporting on performance of the system, troubleshooting, developing, promoting, & reviewing improvements.
• Ensuring compliance with code compliance routines.

Competency Requirements
• Degree in Engineering or Business– Essential
• Extensive operational experience in the oil & gas industry or other regulated industry – Desirable
• Experience and knowledge of SAP operating systems – Essential
• High literacy in Primavera P6 software – Essential
• Knowledge and utilisation of Prometheus GWOS systems – Desirable.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and demonstrate proven ability – Essential
• Hold a Full UK driving licence and to drive company vehicles where appropriate – Essential
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal, leadership skills and supervisory competence – Essential
• Ability to use Microsoft packages and SAP – Essential
• Good reporting, communication, and workload management – Essential
• Appropriate Physical and Mental Capability to undertake the role – Essential
