Estimating Management| Residential Building / Australia

We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to work with a leading national builder. 

This role is suited to a senior estimating manager with experience working for a residential builder. You should have experience in setting up systems, leading a team & managing the negotiation of contracts and supplier agreements with housing suppliers, contractors and subcontractors to ensure optimum costings and quality are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of two estimators
• Negotiate with suppliers as per company policies
• Analyse tender submissions and prepare documentation to suppliers
• Review supply rates with bill of quantity structures
• Work towards best practice at all times

Role Requirements

• Residential estimating experience 
• Tertiary qualifications or trade qualifications in construction preferred 
• Attention to details 
• The ability to meet deadlines and 
• Excellent communication skills
