Contract: Oilfiled Operator / South Australia

 Oilfield/Frac Operators for their job sites located in MOOMBA, SA and ROMA in QLD.

These roles do not require any previous experience in the oilfield and gas sector (but if you have some will be advantageous); it is a very good opportunity to kick off or further develop your career in the industry if you have the right attitude and possess the required tickets.

This assignment is based on a fixed term contract of 6-months, with the possibility of an extension; full-time opportunities with the client are also available for the right candidates.

Responsibilities and duties include but not limited to: 

• Manual labouring: Lift, handle, load and unload trucks, rig up, rig down logging tools.
• Drive trucks and other vehicles to and from the job sites.
• Keep truck fuelled, maintaining truck history books, serviced & complete pre-departure checks.
• Clean and service equipment after jobs.
• Handle and make up equipment for calibrations.
• Assist in repair and/or maintenance operations as per the supervisor instructions.
• Taking instructions from other crew members and work from the bottom up and as part of a team.
• Fill out required reports.

 Skills, experience and requirements: 

• HR/HC/MC License (unrestricted) – i.e. Must be road-ranger/crash box licensed.
• RII Ticket/Certification for the Front-End Loader is advantageous.
• High-risk Forklift license.
• Willing and able to handle manual labour.
• Willing to commit to 3 weeks on/3 weeks off roster (FIFO).
• Willing and able to take instruction from other crew members and work from the bottom up and as part of a team.
• Able to pass a full pre-employment medical prior mobilisation.
• Able to complete several online inductions prior mobilisation.

• 12hrs days (6am/6pm or viceversa) with competitive salary package and penalty rates applicable.

• Long distance travel may be required between work locations and candidates will be mobilising from major capital cities - Adelaide for ''MOOMBA'' and Brisbane for ''ROMA''.
