We are seeking an expatriot Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecommunications Engineer on behalf of a global EPC company for a project in East Africa.

It will be offered on a rotational long term contract.

Requirements

Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Instrumentation/Telecom)
Must possess 5 years construction experience in onshore pipeline installation projects.
Atleast 5 years in a superintendent position.

Desirable:

A strong communication, networking, collaboration, and well-developed team-working skills, especially in multi-discipline and multi-cultural teams.
A full knowledge of project specific execution strategies, and the ability to develop them to meet challenging project objectives and deliverables.
An ‘Incident Free’ mind-set and be a role model for their project team (Direct/Indirect hires).
A proven HSSE and QA/QC leadership in managing and delivering large complex onshore oil & gas projects.

Job Brief

EITS superintendent with expertise in areas such as power generation, power distribution, lighting, heating, and HVAC systems to focus on energy efficiency and energy management for reliable and safe operation of the plant while also helping to reduce energy consumption and protect the environment.
Responsible for overseeing the installation and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation, telecom, and security systems. Familiar with cybersecurity risks to ensure that integration of various systems packages is safe from harm.
Responsible to ensure the right technical talent is selected and identify any additional training required for new employees in construction and testing activities to ensure that project is completed on time and within budget
