Contract: Sourcing Specialist 1 - Buying/Procurement / Houston

Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.

• Request quotes. Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution. Manage problems and schedule changes. Update ERP.
• Manage invoice issues and timely resolution
• Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about data gathering and analysis.

Skillsets

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 2 years of experience in Sourcing/Procurement).
• Experience in ERP System (SAP, Oracle, etc)
• Understanding of MS Office Software Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in team.
• Strong problem solving skills.

Shift hour/ 8:00am to 5:00 pm
Monday through Friday
