Job Purpose:
- The purpose of the role is to ensure safe and timely delivery of the Well pads and flowlines. The candidate will act as the Off-sites Lead and will be responsible for coordinating all elements of the delivery of well-pads and flowlines.
Responsibilities and Key Objectives:
- Coordinating all the Engineering and Procurement activities undertaken by the Engineering Team.
- Expediting materials deliveries to site.
- Ensuring that the construction tendering process meets with the agreed baseline schedule.
- Reviewing the design produced by the civils engineering Contractor.
- Maintaining site quality workmanship and adherence to design documentation. Quality of materials used by vendor.
- Maintenance of Construction Schedule.
- Report to and take direction from the Construction Manager.
- Based in the field with visits to the Erbil office and Vendors works.
- Understands that all local unrest issues are handed over to CSR department for addressing.
- Promote a culture of within and outside the organisation that puts HSE on the top of the Agenda.
- Comply with all those elements Company’s HSSE policy and rules.
- Undergo regular training on the Security aspects of working in Kurdistan.
- Always recognise that HSSE is everyone’s responsibility.
- Specifically, the Candidate shall have hands on experience in planning, and execution of Civil and pipeline works.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or equivalent
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Relevant 15 + years’ experience as a Civils and or Pipeline engineer.
- Experience generating specifications/drawings, SoW and requisitions.
- Proven previous experience with oil & gas industry and knowledge of ASME codes, API standards, and other mechanical engineering related industry standards is preferred.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
- Strong problem solving abilities and ability to quickly assess and make recommendations (rapid problem solving).
- Team-playing attitude; keen to work in multicultural contexts and able to proactively manage the activities of the contractor’s teams.
- Ability to work effectively with team members of all disciplines.
- Have excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Excellent levels of written and spoken English, Kurdish, and Arabic language.
- Good computer skills (MS Office, SAP etc.).
- Effective and supportive team member.
