The client is an Australian market leader, with their head office in Perth. They provide a broad range of bespoke solutions in health and safety compliance. They provide safety, hygiene, and environmental training to local, offshore, interstate, and international clients.

Through their tailored approach to exceed industry best practice, our client ensures their partners are equipped with both the knowledge and expertise to effectively manage the risk of exposure to asbestos. Following exciting growth plans, they are now seeking a sales manager to lead their team in Perth.

As Sales Manager, you will report directly into the Managing Director and be responsible for developing new business with Mining, Oil & Gas, and key government departments. You will utilise your existing network in this space to generate leads and close complex sales. Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
  • Develop and manage business development strategies
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on KPIs
  • Full P&L responsibility
  • Review and facilitate all contractual negotiations
  • Drive company tender management process
  • Oversee and mentor a small team of HAZMAT experts
  • Coordinate and manage clearance inspections, surveys, contaminated site assessments, asbestos, and other occupational air monitoring.
Qualifications/ Knowledge and skill

This is a critical hire for a leading Australian business seeking to expand their market share in Western Australia. To be successful in this role, you will have had experience closing complex deals with multiple stakeholders. You will ideally have experience within HAZMAT and an asbestos environment, ideally at a principal consultant level.
  • Ability to identify pain points for clients, present solutions and close the deals.

  • Licensed Asbestos Assessor
  • Asbestos related laboratory experience
  • Strong project Management experience
  • Able to work autonomously to secure personal and business objectives

Alongside joining a market leading business, you will be remunerated with a highly competitive salary, superannuation, and a competitive uncapped commission structure with an OTE of $180,000 - $250,000.
