On behlaf of a major EPcM, we are hiring for a Logistics Port Co-ordination Manager to join them in their Tanzania office on an 8/2 rotation

The EPcmC Logistics Port Interface Manger will be responsible for all Port interface activity within the EACOP Project.
The post will report to the EPcmC Logistics Construction Interface Manager.
The post will be primarily to cover Dar es Salaam and Tanga Ports but will include other ports of entry as required.
The Port Interface Manager is an EXPAT position based in Dar es Salaam and will be responsible for all Logistics interface between the Ports of Dar es Salaam / Tanga / Governmental staff / EACOP - EPcmC Logistics / Supply Cain / Main Logistics Contractors within the port .
The job will require the incumbent to move to the various ports of entry as the load in schedule requires.
The post will be responsible for the management of the EPcmC Shipping Clerk.

Requirements:

10-15 yr Project site experience including a minimum of 5 years Maritime / offshore experience.
Must have a proven knowledge of port activities, customs and excise, immigration liaison and general permitting procedures.
Must have a practical knowledge of port activities, the dispatch of vehicles including paperwork, routing, restraint and a knowledge of dangerous goods. Dangerous goods qualification desirable.
Must have experience of Management and field related work with specific experience in maritime project work
