Provides day-to-day on-site supervision of facility construction activities associated with major and minor projects. This includes but is not limited to facility upgrades, new wellsite construction, pipeline tie-ins, riser construction, conductor/mousehole installation, civil construction, etc.

  • The supervisor will serve as the primary onsite representative for the facilities and construction team to ensure operations are performed in accordance with construction standards, operational guidelines, and in a safe and cost-effective manner.

  • The supervisor will report out on any issues pertaining to HSE, Contractor Management, Simultaneous Operations and day-to-day operations.

  • The supervisor must be able to work well with Certified Welding Inspector qualification, various Teams and Contractors, works well under pressure, and is able to maintain a flexible workplan to meet the requirements of the Business Unit.

  • The supervisor must portray excellence in their work and have a strong safety culture.

RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Ensuring that operations comply with Company Standards.

  • Lead all pre-job safety meetings and ensure that company safety and culture standards are at the forefront of all operations.

  • Be responsible for health and safety procedures and practices being continuously enforced, and making capable decisions in emergency situations associated with Oil & Gas development. 

  • Ensure that operational procedures, standards, and project scope are followed as planned and conducted in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Enforce the Management of Change procedure to ensure all changes are properly identified and risk assessed prior to implementation. 

  • Manage various contractors and order the necessary services and equipment to conduct the operations, including all logistics with other disciplines.

  • Ensure accurate and adequate reports and records are kept regarding operations, equipment, and performance evaluation.

  • Prepare and/or review the daily activity reports for activities.

  • Ensure potential pollution control problems are considered, and the contingency plans are understood by involved personnel.

  • Ensure the E-PTW (Permit to Work) process is followed between all involved disciplines. Coordinate the issuing, validating, and closing of permits required for facility construction.

  • Ensure on site inventory of all equipment/materials/supplies for a smooth ongoing operation.

  • Ensure timely and accurate cost follow-up.

  • Capture operational lessons learned for continuous performance improvement.

  • Ensures that the handover process between the various teams effectively executed.

  • Ensure facilities/pads are constructed within compliance of all DEP/State/Twp regulations.

  • Foreman must be qualified as a Certified Welding Inspector. Enforce the specifications covering the project under construction (i.e. the codes, standards, etc. in other publications (API, ASME, ASTM, etc.)

  • Review Construction Documents, Specifications, Drawings, Landowner Construction Provisions, Environmental Permits, Construction Permits and Safety Requirements/Plans and ensure that they are followed.

  • Ensure the proper welding procedure is used for welds (production, repair or any other joint design) that are required by project specifications and the alignment of weld joints, Welding and NDT procedures is done correctly according to the Company specific welding procedures and API 1104.

  • Documents welding parameters of every welder to ensure welders are following weld procedure specifications. Welds are soft stenciled with the correct welder identification according to the project specifications.

 

Required Education, Experience, Technical Qualifications

  • Certified Welding Inspector qualification

  • Strong knowledge in Upstream Oil & Gas Operations

  • +15 years of relevant experience

  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of Products
