The client a Global Oil and Gas Operator in Perth CBD are currently seeking a Senior Risk and Assurance Coordinator to join them for a 12-month contract.
Senior Risk and Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for management and performance of the risk management and assurance activities for the current project and future development projects
Major scope of work include;
  • Risk management
    • Risks and opportunities identification & assessment.
    • Provide necessary supports for project decision process.
    • Plan effective preventive/mitigation control actions.
    • Timely implementation of preventive/mitigation control actions.
    • Periodical action tracking.
  • Periodical risk reporting to management.
  • Project assurance activities in accordance with IVAS requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Project Controls
  • Responsible to manage risk management plan/procedure and risk registers.
  • Responsible to manage First Priority risk database.
  • Responsible to establish an annual risk mitigation plan.
  • Active contribution in Cost & Schedule Risks Analysis (CSRA).
  • Organize regular meeting to review project risks in order to establish effective preventive/mitigation control action plan of each risk in time.
  • Plan and manage all the necessary project assurance activities.
  • Manage interface for risk management activities between Development division and internal stakeholders such as central risk team, operations, subsurface, drilling etc.
  • Closely monitor EPC contractor to confirm if they are managing the key risks appropriately. Also, review EPC contractor’s deliverables related to risk management.
  • Participate to internal audit process and project gate review process (IVAS).
  • Contribute to other project management activities such as planning, Cost estimate, Cost control, project admin and so on.
  • Contribute to project close-out report and Lessons Learnt/feedback report.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
  • Sufficient experience of preparation / evaluation / implementation / execution of EPC Contracts
  • Excellent communication/negotiation skills
  • Collaboration with other team members
  • Excellent written skills
  • Proficient with Project Management
