The client is a European company developing large-scale photovoltaic solar energy projects. During internship a wide range of support activities and assistance to the Project Development department will be performed. The person is responsible for giving support to office operations, procedures and resources, facilitating effectiveness and efficiency for the entire organization.
Support on the company team on project daily activities, such as carrying out studies and research on various topics related to renewable energy projects.
They aare a European solar development company in Spain, France (Bordeaux) and the Netherlands that develops large-scale ground-mounted solar photovoltaic projects as well as floating power plants and agrivoltaic farms.
The organisation was born out of the synergy between the Macquarie Capital Green Investment Group and the developer Univergy International.
They started in 2019 with a strong and highly experienced team in the project development and with a pipeline of projects in Spain, France, and the Netherlands.
The capabilities and skills of the organisation allow to create greenfield projects and consolidate them in the different development stages.

Focused on developing fully “bankable” projects the financial aspect is an essential ingredient and along with the technical aspect means that our projects offer maximized returns adapted to each market
The company is specialized in solar photovoltaic development of ground-mounted projects with double use of the land, such as agrivoltaic projects. As part of the team the candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the progress and growth of the projects and company achievements along with ambitious objectives.


  • Generating leads.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
  • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Understanding and promoting company programs.
  • Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
  • Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Maintaining client records.
  • Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field.
  • Experience in sales minimum 3 year.
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to travel by car in the Netherlands.
  • An interest or desire in developing expertise in solar PV projects and solar management.
  • Dutch language, English or Spanish speaking level would be desirable.
Passionate, enthusiastic, team player, with good judgment and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing needs and priorities; proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with little direction.

  • Must have willingness to travel overseas.
  • High level of professionalism and a strong ability to relate to people of all business levels.
  • Understanding of project management and the skills needed to forecast and plan.
  • Effective interpersonal communication style particularly with Directors
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
  • Attention to detail is a must as well as strong organizational skills.
  • Location: Office in Utrecht.
  • Duration: minimum 12 months.
