The leading infrastructure recruitment specialist are seeking a BIM / CAD operators to join a global leader in construction sector for one of Norway's technical infrastructure projects involving roads, tunnels, bridges, drill and blast works.
Joining the construction team is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a team of engineers that is widely recognized as market leaders in the field of infrastructure. The client act as a market leader in construction sector. As a business they employ over 30 000 staff and operate across contracting disciplines.
Job Role / Responsibilities
Support the design teams to develop accurate 3D designs in accordance with the scheme requirements.
- Work with BIM Project engagement meetings including helping team processes via a BIM Implementation Plan (BIP) and Employers information requirements (EIR).
- Responsible for ensuring that the BIM Execution Plan has been maintained for the project(s).
- Prepare and update the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP)
- Prepare Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs)
Project
The infrastructure project is based on the West Coast of Norway and consist of the construction of several tunnels, bridges and highways, the construction has just started and is estimated to last for at least 6-8 years.
Salary Package
The salary package consists of
- 300,000 - 500,000 NOK per annum
- long term project with permanent employment
Requirements
For this role the client have a requirement of:
- Understanding of key design and authorising software (such as; MicroStation, 3D civils, Revit), BS1192:2007 & PAS1192 suite of standards and knowledge/experience of ISO19650
- Experience of working in an infrastructure environment
- 2+ years BIM or CAD experience
- Hands on design experience
- Experience in construction
- Norwegian speaking or experience in the Nordics (Sweden, Norway, Finland)
