Responsibilities:

  • Planning and engineering of unconventional completion stimulation projects including technical research, procurement of services, cost estimating, and AFE preparation.
  • Completion program design including stimulation, workover, hydraulic workover, intervention, and abandonment.
  • Ensuring that Repsol maintains a competitive completion advantage through the effective use of technical innovations. Help maximize the transfer of completion technology to other operations, as required.
  • Risk assessment and MOC for application of technology.
  • Supply day-to-day technical support during the execution phase of programs.
  • Engineering materials selection and service specification.
  • Preparation of cost estimates, contract scope of work, AFE, purchase requisitions/orders, daily certification.
  • Benchmarking of competitor data
Education Requirements: 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Qualifications: 
  • Familiarity with unconventional horizontal completions and fracturing operations.
  • Strong technical understanding around planning and execution of various hydraulic fracturing techniques.
  • Skilled at working in a highly collaborative manner with Superintendents and Completion Foremen.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic fracture model simulators.
  • Well Control certified
  • Spotfire, PowerBI, Primavera, Openwells, SAP experience preferred
  • S – Sedentary Work - Sedentary work duties that include exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible force frequently to move objects including human body. Walking, sitting, standing, talking.
  • L – Light work - Light work duties that include exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Walking, sitting, standing, talking and driving required
  • 10 - 15% of time will be spent on location with field operations.
  • Must exhibit safe driving practices
  • Sit, Stand, Talk, Hear, drive, travel (15%)
