Experienced Basis Consultant to join the existing Basis team to assist in SAP technical support, administration and monitoring activities of the SAP system landscapes including but not limited to SAP S/4HANA, BW on HANA, Business Suite (for example SCM, ECC etc), SAP SOLUTION MANAGER, SAP BW/BPC, SAP Web Dispatcher, SAP XI & PO, SAP Portal, SAP SLT, SAP Web Dispatcher, BOBJ, SAP Cloud Connector , SAP GRC etc. Experience in installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades and supporting core SAP products for example S/4HANA, Business suite & SAP NetWeaver products. Experience in HANA, Sybase ASE, MS SQL & Oracle databases on Windows and Linux platforms. Good to have hands on experience in Public & Private cloud like Azure, AWS & GCP. SAP S/4HANA, HANA & Cloud certifications will be added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, Plan, Execute and support SAP Basis activities e.g. client copy, system cloning / copy (Heterogeneous / Homogeneous), support packages, add-ons and SAP software component upgrades, SSO, SML2.0, SNC, transport migration, SAP Security Notes.
• Batch jobs admin, RFC maintenance, ICM log analysis, HANA/Oracle/ASE online/offline backup/restore, transport management and other regular Basis admin tasks.
• Config & troubleshooting Cluster Failover issues, knowledge of Service Guard, Quorum concept, Corosync Policies, Audit control, OS Scripts / passwords, Database Oracle, SAP ASE & Hana database administration, Loading MDM Repositories and Staring MDM services, Troubleshooting TREX issues, NW AS JAVA admin for example Config tool, NWA, Fiori setup & Performance tuning, Strong knowledge with respect to Logical Volumes, Stonith with fencing devices, Pacemaker Cluster setup, Deploy and Activate Business roles, Adjustment of Fiori Catalogues & Groups and target mapping, experience in SSL CA Signed certificates for S/4HANA, Web Dispatcher, HANA DB, Pacemaker, OS / DB Migration with DMO, SWPM & SUM tools, Upstream/Downstream connectivity troubleshooting, HANA 2.0 with MDC (Multi-Tenant Concepts and HANA System Replication)
• Strong experience in liaising and collaborating with various stakeholders and multiple internal teams i.e. infra, SAP functional and customers
• Supporting SAP landscape with various IT infrastructure components e.g VM, network zones, Active Directory, load balancer etc.
• Support Data Migration activities e.g. file decryption/encryption, file transfer, script writing
• Support IT Security hardening and audit activities
• Responding and resolving incidents that may arise in the production and non-production SAP environments
• Technical documentation with minimum supervision and within an agreed deadline
  

Requirements

• At least a at least a Degree in Computer Science, Information System, Science, Engineering or Equivalent.
• The candidate comes with a good knowledge and skillset in the following platforms and applications: ii. SAP System administration and monitoring iii. Database (SAP HANA, MS SQL, Oracle Sybase ASE) iv. Operating Systems (UNIX/Linux, Windows Server) v. Storage and Backup (Symantec Veritas NetBackup, EMC) vi. Knowledge and experience in IT Security Hardening and audit reviews
