• Must be a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan
• Higher technical degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Good knowledge of electrical equipment: power generators, high-voltage power tranformers, overhead lines, switchgear, and cables.
• Demonstrated field experience in InfraRed Thermography, Ultra-Violet and Ultrasound Inspection Technologies.
• Familiarity with sound industry practices, tools, equipment and technologies associated with electrical surveillance and RoK surveillance requirements.
• Advanced computer proficiency (MS Office applications).
• Intermediate English language proficiency
• Professional demeanor and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Planning and Organization skills
• Self-starter, highly motivated, good teamwork
• Ability to solve and manage unique and complex problems
• Technical skills and ability to address complex, specialty related issues
Provide overall technical support to various departments within company to ensure successful implementation and operation of electrical surveillance systems as well as their integration to Base Business systems. Support further development of Electrical Surveillance Program for equipment which includes Infrared Thermography Inspections, Airborne Ultrasound Inspections, Dissolved Gas Analysis, Switchgear Continuous Thermal Monitoring, Partial Discharge measurement on 10kV Switchgear, Motors and Cables, Corona Discharge Inspections and Generator Inspections. Report equipment failure modes. Proactively make conclusions and recommendations to address any adverse trends in equipment parameters. Verify onsite data is current and feedback anomalies to CMMS group. Participate in electrical design review to verify that electrical surveillance tools are considered such as access, inspection points, technologies etc. Input surveillance data and reports into the JDE E1 system. Provide leadership, guidance and coaching in the area of influence.
