Mechanical Fitter / Assembler – initial 6 month contract – Based Bridge of Don, Aberdeen

We are currently looking for Four Mechanical Fitters for a 5-6 month project based at our clients’ site  in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen.

Roles will operate Monday to Friday shift pattern with occasional weekend overtime.

Shift one

0700 - 1530 Monday – Thursday

0700 - 1230 Friday

Back Shift

1530 - 2400 Monday - Thursday

1230 - 1800 Friday

 

£16.50 per hour basic rate

x1.5 weekday overtime.

x2 on Saturday & Sunday

 

Job description:

Perform the daily test and mechanical assemblies and repairs in service and rental workshops.

As Test and Assembly Technician you'll be part of a thriving workshop environment overseeing the delivery of solutions to our global customer base. You will take responsibility for mechanical maintenance ensuring quality and completion in line with process and procedures. You will contribute to the success of a team that plays an integral part our business.

Duties:

- As Test and Mechanic Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Reading and interpret mechanical Schematics.

• Assembly components per assembly drawing/bill of materials.

• Perform functional testing on assemblies.

• Test assemblies per customer and or division criteria.

• Operates test equipment in compliance with engineering standards.

• Applies settings, calibrates and maintains assembly tools. Work with engineers in accordance with deadlines
