Liaise with other functions (machinery, operations, maintenance, automation, projects, process engineering) to improve operational performance and troubleshooting related to electrical equipment across various voltage classes. Skilled level experience with generators, transformers, power distribution, switchgear, power cables, variable speed convertors, relays, uninterruptible power systems and motors. Awareness to skilled application desired with condition monitoring, equipment testing, and incident investigations.  Produce technical analyses and reports with detailed recommendations for improving system reliability across systems and facilities. Create and conduct reviews of maintenance procedures related to electrical equipment to enhance the performance and reliability of the equipment. Serve as technical mentor to early career engineers, operators, and analysts. Uses processes, engineering principles, practical experience, and standards to identify focus areas for reliability, mechanical availability, and maintainability of electrical equipment.  Provide leadership, guidance and coaching in the area of influence. 


Job Specification and requirements:
•    Must be a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan
•    Higher technical degree in Electrical Engineering 
•    Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering.
•    Familiarity with IEC and other applicable standards.
•    Advanced computer proficiency (MS Office applications).  
•    Pre-intermediate English language proficiency 
•    Good oral and written communication skills to all levels of Management
•    Professional demeanor and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
•    Interpersonal skills to develop relationships within the team and across departments
•    Demonstrated field experiences in Electrical Engineering – Power
•    Desirable knowledge and competency:
•    Generation and distribution systems
•    Alternators, transformers, switchgear, overhead lines, cables
•    Earthing & bonding systems and lightning/surge protection
•    Power system analysis and tools
•    Protection concepts, applications, tools (ETAP)
•    Power Management systems, FLS, PMS, EMS
•    Motors, heaters, trace heating, convertors
•    Specialized power systems
•    Familiarity with IEC and other applicable standards
•    Experience in protection applications and troubleshooting
•    Hazardous area classification and management
•    Experience and knowledge of formal programs for monitoring, trending, and validation reliability programs
•    Planning and Organization skills
•    Self-starter, highly motivated, good teamwork
•    Ability to solve and manage unique and complex problems
•    Technical skills and ability to address complex, specialty related issues
