Opportunity

Joining to the team of specialist to one of the ten largest renewable energy companies in Germany. Active in the fields of wind, photovoltaics, biogas, electricity sales, energy networks and energy storage facilities.

Job Role / Responsibilities

- Design solar projects, at a preliminary or detailed level, using industry-standard software

- Define technical parameters and specifications for components and work execution

- Define bills of quantities for suppliers and draft scopes of work for subcontractors

- Provide expertise during project implementation remotely and, if necessary, on site

- Ensure compliance with codes, norms, and regulations during project implementation

- Support the preparation of post-construction documentation

- Lead and support the transfer of know-how to the foreign subsidiaries

Qualifications

- A master's degree in Electrical Engineering

- Several years of professional experience in the photovoltaic industry in a relevant position

- Experience in solar construction processes (as a site manager or a technical auditor) will be considered an asset

- Expertise in solar energy modelling programs such as PVsyst and design software (Autocad, PC case etc.)

- Business fluent in English; German and additional language would be an asset

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team

- An entrepreneurial mindset
