About the Role
The client is a successful residential builder established for over 20 years with a reputation for building quality homes. Currently building around 150+ homes per year, they have plenty of work in the pipeline for years to come.
Reporting to the Operations Manager & business leaders, you will own the end to end HR generalist function to ensure best practice and operational HR matters across this team with a true, family feel, working across;

Reporting to the Operations Manager & business leaders, you will own the end to end HR generalist function to ensure best practice and operational HR matters across this team with a true, family feel, working across;
- Management and coordination of all HR processes and administration
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including employment contracts and negotations
- Onboarding & inductions
- Offboarding & exit interviews
- Manage employee relations matters such as annual remuneration & performance reviews, and grievance management
- Onboarding and contractual processes, including leading an efficiency project within this area
- L&D initiatives such as refreshing training materials, coaching of managers
- Development of WHS safety plans
- Employee engagement initiatives such as staff events & culture initiatives
About You
For fulfilment of this role you will possess;
- 3-5 years minimum experienced within an HR generalist position, with construction industry experience (preferred)
- Tertiary qualfications relating to the HR discipline required
- Knowledge of Fair Work, Modern Awards and the NES
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience in mentoring & coaching
