MAIN FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide office coordination in support of geophysical vendor field operations .
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In addition to Level 1 tasks and responsibilities, Level 2: Coordinates the disposition of RFIs, NCRs and Field Changes
  • Assists managing design changes throughout the project lifecycle
  • Addresses and solves day to day project coordination challenges supporting the PM in the identification, logging, analysis and resolution/mitigation of issues and risks
  • Assists in the preparation of Risk Management Sessions
  • Assists in the preparation of Lessons Learned Sessions
  • Assists in the preparation of Project Gate Review Packages
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management
  • Advanced knowledge of Project Management Processes; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification an asset
  • Minimum 10 years project coordination experience and/or technical experience in large Design & Build - Must have excellent communication skills, possess high level of integrity, and willingness to build trust and accountability in inter-personal relationships while working in team setting
  • Must be fluent in both written and spoken English - Must be proficient in current communication mediums and technologies (i.e., Microsoft Office, telecommunications, email, meetings)
  • Must be in good physical condition and shall comply with all project health and safety requirements (including any vendor, vessel or country-specific certifications required to work offshore)
  • Must comply with all requirements per the agreement
  • Certifications must be current and not due to expire for the anticipated duration of the project
  • Experience dealing with general contractors and design sub consultants

Required skills and qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Primavera P6 Software
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project Professional
  • Proficient with Micro Soft Office Software
  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of critical path method (CPM) scheduling
  • Time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Solid analytical skills to collect and interpret data
  • Proficiency in understanding blueprints and contracts
  • Outstanding decision-making skills
  • Calm, professional demeanor
  • Keen attention to detail
  • 3+ years’ experience in scheduling
  • Data entry knowledge
  • Managing schedules for a large companies
  • Great communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to self-manage
