As the Building Manager you will responsible for the following;

Make recommendations to the Strata Committee around the services necessary to perform adequate preventative maintenance
Maintaining a high level of customer support
Managing extensive ongoing capital works
Overseeing all common area aspects of high rise residential BMC as well as commercial and retail suites
Management of contracts and service providers
Schedule and arrange for preventative maintenance services for the properties and assets, maintaining logs and databases
Undertaking daily site and quality assurance inspections of common areas, facilities, plant and equipment

To be considered for the position of Building Manager you will require;

Effective communication, people skills and a professional approach in dealing with key stakeholders
Demonstrated experience in multi-tasking of various contractors across multiple buildings
Well presented and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of building services and general building maintenance;
Understanding of compliance and WHS obligations relating to contractors, strata and residential buildings
Prior experience as a Building Manager within residential essential
Previous experience managing capital works
