The client is a oil and gas liquid transportation and processing service provider and they are recruiting for a permanent role in Grangemouth. They are recruiting for a Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) advisor who will support and advice across locations, including offshore, to ensure compliance with legislation and delivery of business objectives.
The successful candidate will act as the focal point for managing key leading and lagging SHE performance indicators data, as well as providing support.

Principle Accountabilities
- Provides onsite coaching to support safe, reliable and compliant operations.
- Responsible for conducting site based assurance activities to verify that activities are conducted in line with management system requirements.
- Lead incident investigations and assurance activities to enable effective learning in line w/ defined Terms of Reference (ToR).
- Assesses hazardous materials, maintains register of approved substances to verify hazardous properties information is compliant with regulation and reduces health related risks to ALARP at the selection stage.
- Support and coach site personnel in conducting effective risk assessment and tool box talks, to ensure all SHE hazards are identified and adequately controlled.
- Promote and deliver site based behavioural-based safety campaigns, working closely with safety representatives and asset personnel to drive SHE improvements.
- Provide onsite coaching/verification on systems and processes.
- Conducts data gathering and analysis to enable to licence to operate reporting requirements to be met.
- Enhanced user of Synergi action management system, training and supporting system users as required.
- NEBOSH Certificate / Diploma or relevant degree
- Graduate member of IOSH / IEMA or equivalent
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience
- Balanced experience in various aspects of Safety, Health and Environmental Management
- Offshore experience preferable
Job-Specific Skills:
- Track record of delivering continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong communication, engagement and coaching skills, with a capacity to influence on SHE matters at all levels within an organisation
- Experience in participating and leading incident investigations
- Relevant experience working with data software packages
- Highly Proficient with Office Packages
- Capability to analyse SHE performance data with a view to influence and improve delivery
