The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is supporting a leading International consultancy who are urgently requiring an experienced Rail Project Director to join their team in Egypt.

Opportunity & Responsibilities:

The opportunity is to join an ongoing Metro project currently under construction in the country and play and key role in its successful delivery. You shall be working on behalf of the client supervising the construction and up to commercial operation. The project is utilising TBM method of Tunnelling.

Responsibilities:

As Project Director you shall have overriding responsibility for leading a team to ensure the successful delivery of schemes including Contractual responsibilities. You shall be supported by a highly experienced of Resident Engineers and discipline leads both onshore and offshore. A major aspect of the role shall be to liaise with all stakeholders while ensuring your companies goals are met and standards are maintained.

Typical requirements for the role:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• 20+years of Professional Experience
• 7+ years on similar Metro projects
• TBM/ Tunnelling experience on Rail/ Metro project
• Held a Project Director position on a successful scheme during construction phase.
• Proven track record in project delivery of large infrastructure and or system works

Salary Package:

The salary on offer for this position is around $15,000 to 25,000 per month with a full package including Flights, transport, insurance, per diem.
