We are now looking for Method Engineer- Mechanical with experience from onshore or offshore projects to help us succeed.



Due to the current pandemic restrictions, only candidates that are already located in Norway can be considered for this assignment.


Position Responsibilities:
  • Establish, update and maintain construction methods and sequences
  • Identify mechanical equipment that may be preinstalled. Coordinate against plan, engineering and procurement
  • Prepare construction method input and prepare method statement for bids
  • Prepare constructability documents and implement construction and HSE friendly design
  • Contribute to establishment of schedules
  • Method support to Engineering / Construction and Plan 
  • Follow up and verify that construction methods are reflected in project schedules
  • Lead and participate in design reviews, focus on constructability
  • Organize and lead meetings as required
  • Ensure involvement from the project’s personnel in development of construction methods
  • Give input to lessons learned reports and workshops, give input to improvement of routines and procedures
  • Communicate and collaborate with all areas within Method discipline, Planning, Engineering, Procurement, Construction engineering and Construction
  • Site Allocation of equipment
  • Critical tag (top 10 list)
  • Preparation of method sketches (plot)
 

Skills and Levels Description:
  • Bachelor/ Master of Science.  Lack of education can be compensated with relevant work experience (multi discipline)
  • Understand and act according to Kvaerner and the projects HSE policy.
  • Extensive knowledge and competence within the construction processes.
  • Active, pushing, solution oriented and with excellent co-operative skills.
  • Good communication skills 
  • Structured and systematic
  • Team worker
  • Proactive, service focused
  • Good knowledge of English both verbally and written language
