The position will be for 3-4 months working a 3:3 roster.
Reporting to the Subsea Installation Contract (SIC) Construction Manager; responsible for safe and efficient planning and execution of the precommissioning scope, including but not limited to:
Reporting to the Subsea Installation Contract (SIC) Construction Manager; responsible for safe and efficient planning and execution of the precommissioning scope, including but not limited to:
- Supporting the Construction Manager in contracts management, schedule management, cost control and progress reporting.
- Responsible for achieving package specific KPIs.
- Responsible for package compliance with Project plans and processes, including: HES, PTW, Quality, Risk Management, Interface, MOC and all relevant Operational Excellence (OE) elements.?
- Responsible for technical aspects of the Precommissioning activities (leak testing, umbilical and flying lead testing, and pipeline conditioning) to ensure robust Contractor’s execution strategies are developed and executed.
- Co-ordination and processing of Concession and Deviation requests (CDR), document reviews and interface requests (RFI’s/INT’s).
- Effective interfacing with subsea design, facilities, drilling, systems completions, and commissioning start-up teams.
- Responsible for ensuring Contractors timely delivery of high quality documentation that complies with international industry and Company standards and equipment vendors manuals.
- Approval of Contractors selection of materials, chemicals and equipment necessary to perform the Precommissioning scopes.
- Responsible for ensuring high quality Contractors HAZID workshops, constructability reviews, equipment audits.?
- Active participation in the co-ordination, planning and execution of equipment / methodology trials, testing and qualification.
- Supervise the Precommissioning subcontractor(s) during detailed engineering and execution phases of the project.
- Responsible for ensuring executed operations preserve the integrity of Company assets.
- Responsible for accurate and complete record keeping, approval of Contractors records and adherence to the turnover process for effective project closeout.
- Support Project wide safety initiatives including development and implementation of an Incident & Injury free (IIF) culture.
- Cascade the IIF Vision and Project expectation to Contractors.
- Exhibit Operational Excellence (OE) leadership behaviours.?
- Substantial experience with all aspects of precommissioning activities including system leak testing, dewatering/conditioning, pigging and control system testing.
- In depth knowledge of applicable international industry standards, codes and regulations (DNV-OS-F101 [2013], ?API RP-1111).
- Experience of dewatering, pigging experience preferred.
- In depth knowledge of precommissioning chemical selection and quality control.
- Experience of subsea pig launcher functionality and spool launched pigs.
- Experience of deep water precommissioning operations using coiled tubing and/or composite downlines.
- Experience of testing of subsea pipeline systems; experience of testing MEG filled systems preferred.
- 15 years’ minimum experience in the oil and gas industry / precommissioning / engineering; including both Contractor and Operator roles.
- Recognised Degree in relevant engineering discipline.
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to develop and maintain a comprehensive HES culture.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage Contractor performance in delivery of subsea major capital projects.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills, ability to achieve milestones, work collaboratively and manage contractors.
